Mr. Goldstein has volunteered his time in many areas supporting children in crisis.

He formerly sat as a member of the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, State Advisory Committee on Sexual Assault.

He served as a commissioner for the Napa County Juvenile Delinquency and Prevention Commission for six years.

He was an advisory board member of the California Association of Counsel for Children, the California Chapter of the National Association of Counsel for Children

He is an advisory board member for Communities Against Violence Network (CAVNET.ORG), a resource for people in need of direction with domestic violence cases.

He is an advisory board member for the Leadership Council on Child Abuse and Interpersonal Violence.

He is on the editorial review board of the Journal of Child Custody (http://haworthpress.com/store/product.asp?sku=J190) and Journal of Child Sexual Abuse (http://haworthpress.com/store/product.asp?sku=J070), published by Haworth Press.

He has volunteered his time and participated in the Monterey County Mock Trial competition, working with high school students learning about the court system.
